SURGE Read to Achieve (RTA) Summer Camp is a summer learning program designed specifically for rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. We are looking for highly-qualified, highly-motivated instructors to support literacy instruction. All curriculum materials will be provided. In the morning teachers will focus on working with a specific reading component. Instructors will need to be familiar with conducting and interpreting assessments in order to determine instructional and independent reading levels for students. In the afternoon instructors will focus on STEM activities using the Camp Invention curriculum and materials. All instructors will be trained.
Instructor positions - full day - AM/PM lead (7:15am-3:15pm)
Instructor positions - half day - AM lead (7:15am-12pm)
** Must be a current CMS employee
** Must currently worked with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade teacher; 5th and 6th graders will be considered as well
** Please indicate in the "Notes" field your school preference (Newell, Crown Point, Sterling, Nations Ford, Lawrence Orr, Allenbrook, Croft, Whitewater, Idlewild, Blythe, Collinwood, Mallard Creek, & Lincoln Heights) and position applying for (All day or morning session only)
** All positions pay $17 per hour

** Must provide current supervisor reference
